SCEC has significant expertise and experience in veterinary research.

Trial Work

·          Pre-clinical studies

·         Phase I (pharmacovigilance (safety), pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics)

·         Phase II (disease-based clinical trials, dose determination and efficacy) studies

·         Phase III (long term, large case numbers, multi-centric disease-based clinical trials) for the purposes of product development, and registration with the Australian    Veterinary Medicines and Pesticides Association (APVMA)

·         Phase IV pharmacovigilance studies to assess market placement and assist with the development of marketing strategies in the animal health marketplace
