SCEC Pty Ltd is a privately owned Contract Research Organisation (CRO) accredited by the NSW Department of Industry and Investment and founded in 2002 by Dr Sally Colgan.
SCEC specialises in the design, management and execution of veterinary (equine, canine, ovine, bovine) projects.
We service the animal health industry, both in Australia and internationally, by conducting important research projects to further the development of veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
SCEC research is currently overseen by independent ethics committees in two Australian states (NSW & SA) and New Zealand. We also hold licences in a further three Australian states (QLD, VIC & NT) that allow SCEC to conduct research that has received prior approval from the NSW Director-General's Animal Care and Ethics Committee, Department of Industry and Investment.
